I have to agree with you Crispus: red_3mil is putting up some amazing pics on flickr! Brighton definately has some attractive participants.

Also, the girl with the tanlines is now one of my favorites, and the first pic is one of my favorite pics this year. I'd seen her in other pics but didn't get a good look at her face before. Just a flat out naturally pretty girl.

Also, I know there are some bottomless fetishists that will like the third pic.

Here's a set that start off sexy, then ends kind of sad.

It's from Morelia, Mexico, and includes more nudity than we're used to seeing in Latin American rides, and even one fully nude girl (seen frontal in Pic 6).

Unfortunately, the authorities don't like that and take action. Whereas in other rides I've seen photos of the police forcing riders to put clothes on, here it appears their protest ended in arrest. I hope they ended up OK.

In addition to the nudity aspect, these are some pretty dramatic and thought provoking photos. The 5th is an almost literal exposition of the "Boobs Not Bombs" slogan we've seen riders paint on their bodies in recent years. In a country mired in a virtual civil war with crug cartels, are naked bodies really that threatening?

The first three are from Torino. I find this girl quite attractive, and glad we finally got to see a pic of her only half-painted.

The rest are from Vancouver including a nice ff of the curly-haired blonde.

The problem is, he censors them. Definitely check it out though, because they're still pretty great pictures.

I'm just throwing this out there, but maybe one of our resident WNBR original photographers (Klondike, Danzo?) could friend him on flickr and see if he could trade for the uncensored photos? It's worth a shot...

I'm working on it. I sent him a Flickr mail and an invite to join my PN photographer group.

I had a similar thought earlier this week when i saw how much improved were the ride pics from NYC this year.
But will NYC's ride ever be huge? I am not sure, nor am I sure that it really matters because the internet gives you instant exposure no matter where you live. Anyway, but those "attractive, liberal minded artistic young people" are already riding in places like Portland, etc. They make up a healthy percentage of the riders here. So, yeah, their infuence is very strong outside of NYC. BTW - they also make up probably most of the naked blue people at Renn Fayre. But as for the city itself - its never really been a very friendly place for bicyclists, and the really huge rides are held at night too. So my guess would be the idea will continue to get exported elsewhere rather than get played out on the streets of New York.

a few people on flickr have their photos only available in the smallest sizes. I'm going to try messaging a few of them to get them to change that. (such as mrsvedder)

also, it's amazing how there seemed to be almost as many photographers as riders (and also the riders themselves were taking pictures), but there are only about 10 main galleries on flickr..
