My wife will often tell me about past sex and I get rather excited. It’s not always about the sex, sometimes it’s the situation that I have to envision. So she went skinny dipping with a couple of guys after a work trip, the guy she was interested in lived by the river so they swam in a little cove. So I asked her if she was completely naked and she says that she thinks she was topless and left her panties on. So as the story continues she is in the shower with guy number 1 when guy number 2 tries to make it a threesome. Guy 1 doesn’t want to share but everyone is naked. Now comes the “shame” part. I know my wife would not have put back on the panties she had wore in the lake. So either she was 💯 naked in the river or she drove 10 miles with no panties on! Either way I’m excited to replay in my mind!

This is the use of the term that I was familiar with. It was definitely in use back when I was in university. It was a sexist term, in that I never heard it used about a guy. It was for any woman who was seen walking around during morning time, while still wearing (but looking a bit worse for wear) the clothes she had been wearing when she went out clubbing the night before.

The most obvious conclusion jumped to was that she had scored someone the night before and was only now returning home. It was a "walk of shame" purely because she probably wouldn't have wanted people to know what she had been up to.

lol i never minded if anyone knew what i'd been up to. i'd have been happy if anyone noticed.
