Lack of toplessness on beaches

We are in Australia though and travel the coast quite often.

Just want to ask whether this "boobs out is still a thing" is more about the beach near you or if it's still a thing even on a more mainstream Australian beaches. I feel like I've been to quite a few different beaches in Australia and nobody has gone topless in the last few years I went, including the few times I went in the last month or so.

Definitely a thing on sydney city beaches still. Coogee and Bondi. Tamarama and Maroubra.
Up the coast on the remote beaches and further up in Byron and Gold Coast.
Have noticed more likely during the week instead of weekends.

Ibiza and Formentera are definitely where toplessness is most prevalent of anywhere I am aware of in Europe. On some beaches it is at least 50%.

The relaxed attitude makes more people try it than otherwise would in my opinion. My wife, who will go topless whenever she can when lying sunbathing somewhere, will be topless the whole time on beaches on Ibiza. She walks around, goes swimming, talks to other people and has done all of these things infront of people she knows - something I just don’t think she would do elsewhere.

Her confidence has definitely rubbed off on others as friends we were with ended up doing the same when it was clearly not on their radar before then.

We are looking to make the booking for June holiday/vacation now. I think we might try Ibiza or Formentera. Are there any beaches or hotels you would recommend? Where is it most common?

I think you live in catalonia from memory. We go there every year, so I'd suggest you live in the best place. If I knew how to DM you I would with the best places we've found

I wonder if the lack of toplessness these days is down to the ubiquitousness of mobile phones with cameras. Maybe, women just don't want their tits to be photographed.

On our first holiday together, my future wife happily went naked on beaches in Fuerteventura. She didn't seem to care about strangers seeing her. Yet as soon as I got the camera out she covered up. I guess she didn't want to risk any of our friends or family seeing photos of her nude.

The woman I was with in the nineties invariably went topless on foreign holidays, but never in the UK. I remember once in Tenerife, also our first holiday together, a young woman asked if we minded if she joined us on the beach. She clearly didn't feel safe on her own. Then she went on to tell my girlfriend that she wanted to sunbathe topless, but had left her friends because she couldn't do it in front of guys she knew. Apparently, she wasn't bothered about me as I was a stranger. My girlfriend replied that she'd die if any man she knew back home saw her boobs.

They were both very different from the other girlfriend I mentioned in a previous post. She had no qualms about stripping off in front of friends or strangers alike.

Don't think there is. I think you can restrict visitors info on your profile to just friends so no one else can see it, as I have, but I don't think there is a direct way to message other users even if you have them as friends.

The photographing or filming is not the issue. It's those pics and/or vids being posted online for all to be seen like their family, neighbors, friends, colleagues, horny members of their church.

Exactly this. Knowing my wife, she would not mind if some people got to see them, but her male colleagues or stepdad and stepbrother would be a big no no.

I think my wife would be happy, and probably find it pretty interesting, for some of our male friends to get to see her tits on the beach on hols. The issue is we can't think of any of our female friends who would return the favour, and my wife wouldnt get them out if the other wives weren't.

Such a shame. Would love to see the look on my mates faces as my wife dropped her bikini top to the sand. She's done this in front of a few male friends before, but a long time ago and before we met. But she wasnt the only one in the group topless sunbathing then, and she wouldn't be the only wife in the group with her top off now. So we'll miss out I think.

Pretty much the same here........she generally doesn't want to be the only one, and likes someone else to be topless.
But occasionally she doesn't care and just feels like going topless no matter what.
