This question statement if for both Male and Females . I have seen this for 30 years. It takes a few forms in my experience. “I had to do the dare”, “I lost the bet”, or “I can win the game” are big ones. My wife has done many things and written it off for one of those reasons.

I also think it is related to “he’s already seen my tits” which is an escalating progression where each showing is justified by the previous showing regardless of context. So accidentally catching a quick glimpse of my wife changing might be a reason she doesn’t care if you see her swim naked.

I think the “I had to do the dare”, “I lost the bet”, or “I can win the game” analysis is very valid. I know for certain that in college the fact that I "lost a bet" justified it in my mind to have my first interracial encounter and while this is somewhat different than being tied spread eagle on a bed, it is still a submission due to a justification.

I think that some of the reasons these justifications are necessary is because of how we are raised. We want to try things but our sense of guilt won't let us without the mental justifications of it being a situation we got ourselves into. Now I have to do it.
