Default DVD playing software

I recently reformatted a computer but lost the disc to reinstall the software that I used for playing DVDs. Does anybody know of good FREE DVD playing software that I can download?

I use VLC for everything related to video playing.

Works well for DVDs

http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

p.s. It also reads any existant video format out there ( I was looking at the linked download list from peeper and noticed some were for specific video formats )

p.p.s. I just saw VLC is at the top of that list
