A cloudy Bay to Breakers 2010

I almost headed south on Friday to join the throngs at Bay to Breakers 2010, but held up and at the last minute decided to stay home. The reason was the weather forecast and nothing more, with the outlook deteriorating just enough to cause me to shiver just a little bit thinking about standing at the start line.

But there will still be pics, and probably a lot of good ones. Nudes come out rain, fog or shine each year. Its just that last year was so warm, almost 90F, that it was inevitable some correction would take place this year.

So far I've gone through over 7k of photos posted Sunday to flickr, picasa, smugmug etc, and I can tell you that this year seems to have been a complete flop, nudity-wise. Since nudity has only been increasing in the past couple years, I can only assume this is due to the weather. The real nudists (the folks in the yellow hats) still came out, but it appears the younger and more attractive set kept their kit on. That only makes sense, I suppose, but it's extremely disappointing nonetheless.

I'll keep searching over the next couple days, but I don't expect much.
