Since there was no reason to lock my thread other than having to moderate it slightly I would like to know why it was locked? What was the point especially since someone else just poached it 5 min. later anyways. "Don't piss off the mods." is not a reason to lock the most frequented thread on this forum, so if my threads are going to get locked for having to remove other peoples posts than let me know and I will stop posting on this board.

I understand why your upset.
I also agree that the moderators needed to do something to get everyone's attention so people won't keep breaking the forum rules and/or reposting material that was removed for good reason. Now that some time has passed, I have decided to re-open the thread and simply combine any posts from the new thread into your original thread so no new posts are lost. Fair enough? However, everyone posting has to follow the rules, stay on topic, and respect the modertors so we don't run into the same problems again. Thanks,

First, thanks to the mods who actually moderated my thread
![]() Unless I am incorrect, boards are for discussions but I suppose that is not true for some moderators...so maybe I should just stop now and just ask you delete my celeb oops thread instead of discussing it in a different section of the board... The only reason I started my thread, and continued it was because I had taken so much from OCC that I wanted to give something back to OCC; the traffic the thread creates gives me nothing except knowledge that I helped OCC continue to thrive. If this has created a problem, then it has had the reverse effect of what was intended. To me it is not a major issue to have to remove the occasional misplaced celeb nude on the oops thread, but if showoffzzzz wants to keep locking my thread for every little problem than I am requesting that you delete my Celebrity Oops thread. The last thing I want is a tomb stone lock permanently on my thread, to me it is the same as deletion but without the finality. I have the entire thread back-uped anyway, and if deleted, I will try to post that collection as an archive in the RS section for all to access as is. |

Thanks for the update Fango (and Alex), since you are discussing how to manage the thread I'll put in my two cents.
1) No straight celeb nudes (this includes stolen, lost, or sold home pictures) they may be nude, but it not an Oops moment. Not to mention these shots are sometime the cause for mean letters from attorneys. 2) No fakes, if you even think it might be fake don't post it. If you are unsure this is not the thread to figure out what is fake and what is legit. 3) No staged shots, if the chick is doing it intentionally it is not an Oops (intent is fairly clear and not really debatable) SlickOne's Oops List is a fine list IMO, but I would add one category, nip/camel toe beach candids. Either way, thanks for taking the time to work w/ my thread.
