Default Accidental Pros

I'm deplorable at telling whether some pics are pro or amateur. Sometimes they're really good photos but could easily have been done by an amateur (I'm a good photographer with a £600 DSLR. I can get some great shots, but I'm not a pro). Sometimes they're crap photos that might have been done by a "pro". Am I better off "playing it safe" or just posting them and letting the mods have the final say? So far I've been doing the prior.

I wrote up this guide to identifying pro pics a couple years ago:

It's not foolproof, but it's a good start. Remember, there's no penalty for posting pro pics, other than them being deleted. If you start posting nothing but pro pics, we might tell you to knock it off or something.
