Hello, everyone! I hope no-one minds me creating this thread. I would really like to keep it, if that's ok. As I have worked very hard to find and collect the following material.

Yes, I own the cartoon series on DVD, and I am providing evidence.
And I want to share it with everyone (all 95 complete episodes) just as soon as I know how.
But I need your help! I know nothing about anything, when it comes to doing all this. So I need full in-depth help! Haha, thanks.

And keep your eyes on this thread. I have lots more Machiko to come, as I have a few tricks up my sleeves.

Anyone want to see the complete Miss Machiko mangas? Well, so do I! I don't have them all, but with your help, we should be able to see them all.
Yesterday, I purchased all 8 Machiko mangas off a website. You download them onto your computer. So they are not in book form.
Problem is, it wouldn't let me download them! And I have already bought them. Yeah, bummer.

It's a Japanese website. And trust me, I have sent e-mails to the support team and tried to translate the whole site, in order to figure out what i'm doing wrong.
I tried Firefox and Internet Explorer.
I'm very sure I have all the programs you need to download them, too.
But yet, something is still missing.
Perhaps someone who lives in Japan and/or speaks Japanese can help.

Come on Miss Machiko fans and fans of ENF mangas and comics. We need your help!

Ha, you would think for someone has spent hours upon hours looking for Miss Machiko, that I could spell Maicching correctly.

Ok, good news and bad news.

My friend in Japan was able to download the files and then send them to me.
They work with Abode, they are PDF files.
However, Abode claims they were not decoded correctly, and were probably harmed because they were sent through a e-mail or what-not, without being decoded.

Any help? It would be greatly appreciated.

You cant see the pDFs? What version of adobe are you using?

I just checked my inbox, -slaps self in the head- I just realised you were the one that sent me an email awhile back about cdjapan (where I get my dvds). I should of put two and two together to realise you were ordering the collection. I feel so stupid. I'm sorry.

Ok, more progress has been made with the mangas. But unfortunately new obstacles are now in the way.
Appartently, the PDF files have a special lock on them, which prevents you from sharing them with another computer. So when my buddy in Japan sent me the zipped file, they came with a lock on them.

Another thing, i'm pretty sure you have to use Adobe 8.12 Japan version, to view them. But that's no problem, I was able to download it today. The only draw back is that you have to un-install your other Adobe, first.

The Japanese website would not let me download the files, so I figured you have to live in Japan to download them. And i'm pretty sure I was correct, because my friend had no trouble at all with them, and was able to view them on his Adobe easy.

So we are only left with a few options:

1) Figure out a way to get that lock off the files. The files were locked with this program: http://www.trinity-ss.com/en/pb_drm.html (scroll down to see a picture that explains)

2) Figure out a way to download the files directly from the Japanese website. All 8 mangas come to a total of about $28.00 U.S.
So i'm sure many of you wouldn't mind paying such a small fee.

3) Is it possible to save the images as JPGs, when they are on Adobe? Then once saved, they could be sent to me in a zipped file.
However, I don't know my buddy in Japan all that good, and he doesn't speak good English. So I would feel awful to ask him to do all this, because it's over 150 MB in the files.
So another option, is to track down someone who lives in Japan, who also speaks fluent English, and offer to pay them for their help.

Just search on google about ripping dvds onto the computer and you'll find a lot of how tos. And then from there you can just put them on youtube or upload them to rapidshare/megaupload/etc.

I've tried Google for ripping, but no luck with it. Someone is gonna have to give me in-depth help on it.

And yeah, i'll have to provide a download link, cause Youtube will tear down my Miss Machiko posts extremely fast! Just ask Kita.
Of course, the first 3 episodes of Machiko are still up on Youtube as we speak. They been there a long time. They are displayed in Japanese text, so Youtube missed them.

I think I found a program that will remove that lock on the PDF files. I'll keep everyone informed.
