So I have a PC that a user stored some ENF pics of herself on that were there last Friday. It has been used since then, and she deleted the photos at some point on Friday or after (it is now Tuesday night).
I'd love to recover them so I can share. They'd be some AWESOME pictures. Problem is, I don't know if they can be recovered. I've got the hard drive, and can probably keep it as it currently is until the end of Wednesday, but then it'll need to go back into production. I've been using Pandora Recovery to try to get to the pics, but so far I've had no luck. My understanding is that they were in her "My pictures" folder. I can't really target that folder for a recovery of deleted files with any software I have, though. Anyone have any ideas? |

Providing the physical area of the HDD hasn't been used they could be recovered. Try out a couple of different recovery solutions.
http://www.g-loaded.eu/2006/12/08/mo...ecovery-tools/ The user has no control over the area of HDD being used, if it's gone and the area has been re-used then it's gone.
