Do me a favor and try it agian without hotlinking. When you are writing a post you can use the "Manage Attachments" button to upload photos. That way we never have to worry about broken links and red X's.

i've been uploading the files in the first post for 20 minutes now, but it's still saying, please wait.

is this normal or am i doing something wrong?

That seems a bit too long for simply uploading photos. A lot depends on the speed of your internet connection.

If you are still having trouble, you can try uploading a small photo in the Post Testing Area forum.

it's still not uploading, my pics are on an angelfire site, rather than on my home PC (other family member suse the PC) could that be why?

I guess you are going to need to temporarily download them and upload them directly from your PC. Just remember to delete the files so you don't get in trouble at home.
