videos in fast forward

wondering if someone could help, not all but some wmv vids are like playing in fast forward (windows player), thanks in advance!!!

i havent heard of that one before. Try clicking on tool tab and check your settings for default. Are you using media 9 or did you upgrade to 10, cos i know the version 10 had a few glich's and most people reverted back to media 9.
