fastforwarding
some videos do not let me fast forward nor rewind.. is there any way to fix this? there are some hour long videos i would like to scroll through

I have found that the only videos that won't let me FF or RW are ones with the .WMV extension. Not all of them, but a few of them will not do it for some reason. (There maybe an odd .AVI file aswell, but I cannot remember).
There are programs out there that will re-code the video file so that you can FF or RW it.. but I haven't the foggiest idea where to find them. Your only luck would be searching google or tucows.com. Sorry I can't be of more assistance.
