I've been seeing a lot of one star ratings lately in the Photos forums and I think someone is rating them that way inadvertently. There aren't any derogatory comments in the posts and all of the replies are good, so the ratings must be erroneous. So to clarify the rating system: 5 stars = "I love this post!", 4 stars = "This is a good post.", 3 stars = "This post is OK.", 2 stars = "This post is not so good.", 1 star = "This post sucks."

I always wondered who rates threads and whether i would be able to rate or not. Today only I found out that rating a thread can be activated only after 2 MB of posts on this forum. Well I think I have posted more than 2MB in last 2 days but still I dont see rate the thread option for me. Moderators - can you pls look into it?

That being said, star ratings really aren't that important here. The best way to thank a member for their post is to leave them a written reply or click the "Thanks" button. Fango |

Fango was absolutely correct. We had a problem with people (mostly lurkers I'm guessing) abusing the thread rating system, so we chose to limit who could access this feature.
However, I'm glad you brought this up because I think people who have contributed 2MB or more of attachments can probably be trusted with this great power. ![]() I just enabled the thread rating option for all members who have posted over 2 MB of attachments. Let's see how it goes. Thanks,
