Default Help With Videos

I didn't know where else to put this. I have about 150 videos in my collection that some how are corrupt. Everytime I try to open one of them my explorer crashes. Is there anyway to restore vids like this? I have lots of videos and its only these that are screwed up. But its 150 of them. Other videos are fine. I would like to get them back so I can post them. Some were really good.

Are you sure all of them are corrupt? It could be that there is only a problem with 1 video, but explorer crashes when it tries to make thumbnails of the corrupt video.

Try this, change the folder view to "View List". See if explorer still crashes. You can also try, copying the videos 10 at a time to a new folder until you find the video(s) that are causing the problem.

If all 150 are corrupt, I don't have any good advice.

Thanks,

Its all the videos. I had to very painfully try to remove the good videos. Everytime I clicked a bad video the thing crashed. Now I have a folder of 150 bad videos. I even tried to move a few to different folders and the same thing. I am going to try and upload a video to my image event account, download it, then see if its bad.

I posted a webcam video that keeps crashing for me. Here is the link if anyone wants to download it and let me know whats going on. I have run many virus scans by different software companies. I wouldn't worry about it being a virus.

The way the site is set up, you can't easily download the file. It just plays in the browser window. However, the video did not work for me in the browser window after it was finished downloading. I just got a blank media window.

I hope this helps,
