Thanks for all the nice comments! To answer this question, we had been married about 3-4 years at this point and while visiting her parents house they mentioned that they still had a few bags of clothes and stuff from when she was a teenager. She first left her parents house to move in with me and she had left behind some of her old stuff in storage. She only brought a small amount of clothes and underwear to her new place and sorta started from scratch. When we looked through the bag I saw the Hanes underwear for the first time and I asked what they were. I saw a look of dread come over her face as she said "those are my granny panties from before I met you." I asked why I had never seen them before and she answered: "maybe I didn't want my boyfriend to see my embarrassing underwear!
