Default secure connectioned failed

Something is wrong with the certificate for this site, it always fail to open a secure connection. Consequently, I must always 'accept the risk and continue'

Changes and updates were made on our end.

Is anyone still experiencing this issue?

I haven't experienced this myself using Firefox. Everything works as expected. So far, I'm unable to emulate the problems described.

Are other people seeing this issue still today with Firefox or other browsers?

This line throws an error using Firefox
Thanks for the feedback. This seems to be an isolated issue affecting only some Firefox users. The line of HTML posted is the very first line on every page of the forum, including the login page. I don't think that is the issue. It's just the beginning of any page before, during and after login.

I would like to find some sort of common theme so we can offer a solution.

I ask that anyone else experiencing this issue with your browser, please offer us feedback.

I don't have this problem.
I'm using Firefox v123.0 (64 bit) Win10 64bit from UK. I upgraded Firefox shortly before this problem was reported and did not have a problem then.

I sometimes get a message on opening a new tab saying this is not an encrypted https:// page, F5 reload fixes that.

It is now both. It used to be a search engine only. There is now a beta version as a web browser for Windows
duckduckgo.com/duckduckgo-help-pages/get-duckduckgo/get-duckduckgo-browser-on-windows/

It has most of the privacy built in. BUT it is still in beta and liable to crash ocassionally so I would not recommend it as your main browser - but you might want to try it out eg for porn.

I use the DuckDuckGo search engine as my standard search engine in my other browsers. BTW you can have more privacy and security by using different browsers for different purposes eg
- high security email, banking, online shopping
- ordinary browsing
- porn cf when you visit seedy parts of town you might not want to wear your best clothes, flash your new phone or fancy watch ...
I avoid Chrome because of google's tracking - consider Edge, Firefox and now DuckDuckGo browser. When browsing porn consider private mode so things aren't saved. Also ublock ad blocker.
