(assuming that Rule 9 always applies on OCC Please don't submit photos & videos featuring just men. ...
Some posters give a trigger warning if the nude pics/videos of women they are posting/linking to also shows nude men. Maybe the posters appreciate those warnings for themselves. Maybe the posters are personally "unpeturbed" but are just being considerate of what they think might be other guys' sensitivities. But is this necessary? How many people here want these warnings? Personally, I expect to see dick: - always - if straight hardcore (except for female solo and lesbian) - sometimes - if softcore MF - often - if nudist/naturist. Personally, I'm not traumatized, turned off, or fear I'll turn gay by seeing dick in the above situations. What about the rest of you? This is not to judge anyone on this matter. We feel what we feel and no justification should be needed. But if you can say a bit more, then please do so - especially if you want this trigger warning. |

I think sometimes when posting a link it's worth mentioning not so much as a trigger warning but as a reassurance that the link is correct.
e.g. "don't be put off by naked guys at first. it gets better.." I'd be amazed if someone was really offended or put off when seeing a nude male. Surely most men have played sport at some stage and shared communal locker rooms or showers. Remember the communal baths? I appreciate they may not want to browse gay porn but when you are on a site like this you have to do some careful navigation to avoid naked men completely. |

Thanks to those who have responded. Although a minority have said No, I would like to see more comments on their reasons with only a week to go.
So far the reasons given have been: - reassurance it gets better (presumably/especially if the male nudity is seen first) - courtesy/consideration for those who might be sensitive to male nudity. It is a decent thing to be considerate of others who are sensitive to male nudity (in the context of female nudity). But we have not heard from anyone who actually is. Are they any such people amongst those who voted No? As I said, I want to understand not to judge). |

There is a dick in just about every hardcore pic in the forum. It would be a mod's or poster's worst nightmare to have to warn people they might see a dick on a porn site. Let's put this issue to rest: No one is going to "turn gay" by seeing dicks. Gay is not a lifestyle choice. Imagine a person who is wired to be as attracted to men as straight OCC members are to women. That's their biology. It's in their genes to be attracted to the junk in your jeans. I am so wired toward women that I'm practically repulsed by the idea of sex with men. I've seen a million dicks and no matter how handsome the owner, nothing has changed that wiring. You don't turn. You may CHOOSE to experiment, but you don't turn. Bisexual is another thing entirely. Need more info? Read up on the subject. Knowledge is good.
