"All people seen in any photo or video must be at least 18 years old. If you're not sure of someone's age, don't post it."
My understanding is that there has always been zero tolerence on this rule which means no kids in pictures under any circumstances even if they are pixelated or blurred. FWIW I agree with this completely, - after all this is a porn site. Lately there seem to be a few creeping in which I have reported but have not been deleted. Maybe my reports have gone AWOL or something, or is there a change in the interpretation of this rule? Thank You |

As a mod I'm supposed to know, but to be honest I'm not 100% sure myself.
I've seen pictures get deleted or let go, depending on who gets to it first. I thought blurring out an underage person was ok, but if too much was in the picture it was deleted anyway. Just lately I err on the side of caution and delete the image. After all, if it still looks underage, it shouldn't be there. Reports are dealt with by whoever gets to it first. If a mod lets it go I won't overrule their decision, I'm too far down the food chain to do that. |

Thanks for your reply. I guessed it was probably something like that, and I'll continue to report any I see just in case.
I know it's a bit of a moral maze discussing porn but I feel this is one area that should be pretty clear for a website. Apart from anything, it's unecessary because the photo can be usually be cropped to size which I understand is Ok providing it's not to hide a watermark. Most offending pics seem to be from relatively new users and I like to think that more senior stick to the rule quite strictly. Perhaps a good opportunity to say a big 'Thanks' to the mods, - not an easy job. |

Certainly from my point of view I make a judgement call on each image. We've had reports where eg the bottom of a child's leg could just be seen in the corner of the image, in which case I tend to let it slide. The same with voyeur shots where a child's blurry outline can just about be seen with eagle eyes in the far background of a beach shot.
As much as we don't want unsuitable images, we also don't want to annoy those that take the time to upload and give us new content to look at, on the basis of the above scenario. |
