Post delay

It used to be that when I made a post it showed up immediately, but now my posts are delayed because they need to be approved. Is this a change that applies to everyone?

Basically, yes.
We've been bombarded with spam posts and this was the only way to stop them getting on the board.
We were then flooded with reports of spam posts which then doubled the amount we had to clean up.
There is a point where your posts no longer need approving, though I don't know what you need to meet it. It'll be something like an amount of posts and/or attachments and maybe thanks received?

Fair enough. I was mostly concerned that I accidentally did something that put me on an auto-moderate list and didn’t realize it.

Most of my participation is in the “Free Links” forum and all the content I’ve added is there, so If attachment count matters I’ll probably remain moderated for a while. Oh well.
