Have a great vid I'd like to post but it is 13mb and over limit
It is a WMV file and I can't make it smaller - anyone know how?

If this is the wrong forum, please move to correct one

with moviemaker you can make two clips from one movie

stephanreich is correct. If you are running Windows XP, you will find Windows Movie Maker comes bundled (free) with the operating system.

That will work for reducing .WMV videos.

Hi doubled,
I'm not a Mac user but I searched a little on the net.
It seems there aren't any .wmv splitter available for Mac. As you surely know .wmv format is patented.
I guess the easiest way to make your job done is to find a friend with a Windows based PC and make him do the work for you

I don't know anything about Mac, but what about converting the .wmv to .mov? Do you have a .mov editor that then could split or reduce the quality of the clip to get it to postable size?

Dormbang.wmv is the name and I really hope after all of this, it isn't a repost cause that would just really suck.
