Recent friend requests?

Anyone else suddenly receiving friend requests that end up looking a lot like a spammer in action? I've rejected two, within the past two days, that had joined very recently and didn't pass my personal smell-test . Just curious.

SPAMMERS tend to get creative the more desperate they are.

Just go to the "invite" message and deny/reject them. Send their info to Admin. They can probably keep them from trying again with blocks on their IP or by other means. I've moderated a couple of other sites and there are administrative tools available to keep the creeps out.

Ditto. Got two in three days, from nom de keyboards that had no history, so I refused both.
