Most of you probably know this, but I'm often surprised about some of the little things folks don't know....
If you are going through T*mblr sites to look for pictures, LOT's of photo's shown are smaller than what is actually available... Look @ the URL of the picture link, and if it ends in "_500.jpg", there's decent chance there is a larger version available. Open the image with "open image in new window", and then change the URL to "_1280.jpg"....Quite often you'll get the bigger version. I don't know why people post the smaller versions, but they do. Hope this helps someone. |

When you use Firefox check out the extension Tumblr Hi-res. This will automatically show highest res pictures when you open them in a new tab
.

And also don't forget Google image search. Enter the image search and then click on the little camera icon. Then drag your small picture. Almost always there wil be a bigger one out there.
