I think my picture collection might be TOO BIG (yeah right!).Currently I have a little over 100,000 photos in just under 1400 folders.I have this collection stored on 2 different external hard drives.I'm also using windows 7 and 8 as I have more then 1 computer.
My quest in this thread is to find out if there is a better way to securely store this collection and is there a program that is better then windows to organize them.I can go into great detail on the storage and sub folders, even offering examples(although I dont know the posting guidelines for this area of the forum for pictures) Thanks in advance RW |

Thats a good one....I have a few,the ones I do have are stored in OCC members and I wouldn't share or post those on other sites. This is the only site I post at so it's a easy rule for me to follow. The picture I posted of Suzy on this post https://forum.oneclickchicks.com/show...&postcount=514 was her in a Corona Bikini and I will be glad to flag it and have a moderator remove it if that is what you want.I chose that picture because it didn't show her naked and it is one of my favorites

I have a Seagate Goflex Home, 1 Tb networked hard drive. The included software works on my XP desktop, my XP netbook and my Windows 8.1 all in one. I also use Drop-box and One Drive for cloud storage. Drop-Box and One Drive are accessible to my Windows phone and Android tablet. Special files that I want access to, like wallpapers or videos I'm working on get stored to one of the clouds. Eventually everything ends up on the Terrabyte.
