Something Has Changed (Internet Explorer 11 - Problem saving attachments)
Until a few days ago I could open and download Pictures, Zips and RAR's without a problem. Now when I open a picture in a posting and try to save it on my Hard Drive a text pops up calling the picture attachment.jpg. That in itself is not an issue. The problem is the next one I try to save the same title pops up and says that you have already saved a picture called attachment.jpg and do you want to replace it with this one. Until Tuesday this week this did not happen and now it is there all the time. With the Zips and RAR's I click on them to open and when I do a text bar opens at the bottom of the page and asks me if I want to open or save attachment.php(28.4MB) as an example and if I open it a text box opens and says I need a program to open PHP files. I am using Windows 7 XP and I have WinZip17 to open the Zips and RARs. This started around Tuesday as well and I am stuck???? Please Help if you can

The Problem Is Solved
Hello All,
I solved my problem. I downloaded some updates for Microsoft and one of them caused the problem. I uninstalled all the updates that I had done for the month of November and it cleared the problem up. Thanks to all for your help and interest. LOVE THIS SITE!!!!!!!! thegit |

I can verify the IE11 Problem.
Downloading OCC files act like described in this treat. Always stored as "attachment.jpg" which needs to be renamed. Videos are not working at all, only storable as "attachment.php".... I can not agree that this is only a local Problem, as all other websides, also including downloads are working fine with IE11. Anyway, I will step back to IE10 to get this worked around.... If someone found the key to fix this, it would be a pleasure to particiate... Kind regards.. |

Bye the way, I just found a solution that worked for me ....
You don't have to uninstall IE11 to geht this Problem solved. For me it is enough to put the Webside "oneclickchick.com" into the "compatibilityview" mode, which is found unter the "extras" tab. To be honest, I currently do not know how this is set in english as I am using the german version of IE11. The "Extras" selection is right beside the favourits . Then choose "Settings of compatibilityview" or something similar. put the webside in and then it worked for me again. Kindly regards.... |

Works
I didn't have to go back to IE10 either....
go to the TOOLS tab near the Favorites and select Compatibility View settings and 'add' OCC... Works great |
