New improved Attachment Manager

I'm happy to announce that we are now testing out a much improved advanced version of our Attachment Manager used for uploading your files.
We've done extensive testing of it and now I'd like you all to try it out and give us your feedback.

The best new features include:

Select multiple files at once. Still limited to 10 attachments per post
Live upload statistics so you can view the progress of your uploads.

If the feedback we get is positive, we'll make this a permanent option for uploading your files.
If people are having trouble with the advanced Attachment Manager, the basic Attachment Manager is still available.

To try out the new version, Just look for the button that says:
Attachment Manager [Advanced version]

- I like the idea, particularly the progress indicator. Just tried to upload a .jpg and a .flv and got IO Server Error each of three tries.

Old basic version worked fine.

Can you share what browser and operating system you are using?
This might help us with pinpointing problems and making fixes.

This new advanced version of the Attachment Manager does rely on Abobe Flash.
Updating to the latest version of Adobe Flash may possibly resolve upload issues for anyone having trouble.

The progress indication and the "viewer after download is complete" is a really welcome upgrade.

If the "preview post button" could eventually be integrated in a similar fashion, then I think you've got one of the best uploading systems available.

Works very well indeed - adobe crashed once - but otherwise a great improvement
