Default saving dvd to computer

Is there any way to save something from or the whole dvd on to your computer if you want to upload something to a website or something??

Yes it is possible, but I have to admit I haven't tried it myself.

You might look into DVtool.

Default about DVD

There is many tool that can save DVD to a PC.
I use DVD shrink OR MPEG4 Direct Maker
its take a lot of practise AND a fair bit if editing. You first need to make VOB files and then edit them to what ever file extension you decided to use.

DVD Shrink to rip the movie files off the dvd (.vob) and then WinAVI to convert them to .mpg or .avi or whatever else you want to watch them on MediaPlayer etc
