Thumbs down Bumping...

I sit just me, or is there a LOT of really OLD threads being bumped lately?

Sometimes I go to the higher page numbers just to see what I might have missed, but bumping a thread from 2005?
Please, just click the thanks button if you see something you like that's more than a year old. Posting a reply that just says, "nice tits" isn't really adding anything but still brings the thread to the front page.

I am seeing it too. I think it is new members trying to get their minimum posts

I'm of a different opinion here guys. It can be nice to see avid or pics you had totally forgotten about. It also gives newer members the opportunity to see pics they might of missed from back in the day!

Yeah i'm with Wetmac

With the colossal amount of members/posts/threads here, it's very easy to miss stuff

More often than not, when a new thread gets posted, it will have fallen back to page 3+ within 24 hrs, especially in the Sexy Amateurs section
I understand it gets irritating for you guys who practicably eat and breath OOC, but for those that aren't able to frequent the site as much, sometimes it's a blessing.

Default Excellent points.

After some consideration, and clicking, I think I might change my mind. I also go way back sometimes to see what I might have missed. I thought I read somewhere that bumping was discouraged unless there was something to add.
I admit I did it as a newbie but it was by accident. There was one photographer whose work I really liked. I commented on a couple and later discovered that the threads I commented were now on the front page.
I still check the older threads but now I click the thanks button and comment on the posters member page.

Rant withdrawn. Welcome new members! I'll go back on my meds now.

That refers to posts that just say or include the word "bump" for the sole purpose of bringing the thread to the top, or posts that conjole people to respond to a request. Thoughtful thanks posts are always OK, even on old threads. However, unthoughtful thanks posts (i.e. posts that just say the word "thanks" or some variation thereof) are not OK, especially many of these kinds of posts made at once. That's what the Thanks Button is for.
