Default Help with windows media

I have windows7/windows media 10 or 11 i think. Prior to a couple days ago I could download a couple videos at a time and when they were finished they'd just be 'cached' for me to click on them when I was ready to watch them. Now when I download videos, as soon as the videos finished downloading it automatically plays. It sucks cuz now I'll be watching 1 video, downloading another and the video I'm currently watching gets cut off because the other video automatically starts playing as soon as it has finished downloading. Hopefully you understand what i just wrote and can help. Thanks.

Some of your settings might have changed for whatever reason.

Try doing this:

Click on Control Panel in the Start Menu and click on All Control Panel Items. From there click on AutoPlay, by default you should see that AutoPlay is ON. To turn off AutoPlay completely just uncheck the box. If you want to turn off AutoPlay for one type of Media just select Take No Action in the drop down list (you would want to do it next to Video Files). Then click Save and you're done.
