There were definitely local variants in Spain, Italy, Israel and Holland (where it was called 'rat van fortuin') and obviously the US. Clips from the US version, including at least one of the nudist phoneboxes, used to be on Youtube, but I believe Comedy Central got very protective of their content at one point and it vanished.

Thanks for the videos! By coincidence, I was also searching for more 'Distraction' videos yesterday, and though I didn't have much luck finding new videos, I did work out my 'state of current knowledge'. For info on the different versions of the show, the WXikipedia page is useful (hxxp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Distraction_(game_show) ). Here is where I think we are:

1) Brazil (Distração Fatal), Canada (Distraction), Greece (Distraction), Serbia (Distrekšn), Paraguay (Distracción) & Uruguay (Distracción) - no current information. I couldn't find anything in English, and very basic searches in these languages also didn't yield any info. We need native speakers of the relevant languages, and people with some local knowledge, to chip in here. Maybe some, or all, of these versions didn't include the nudist games anyway. A plea for help on these!

2) UK - I have already posted the only clip worth bothering with on the previous page of this thread.

3) Spain - the videos posted above by mdot aren't the only games involving nudity. There is also another one, a nudist wheelbarrow race, capped here (hxxp://blogs.20minutos.es/bobpop/2007/02/20/mi-concurso-favorito-la-tele-es-distraccion-fatal/). Also, the nudist phone booth video linked above has been quite savagely edited. I have the video already, downloaded from another site, edited in the same way, so I don't know if there's a more extensive version online.

4) USA - all of the videos from the American version have disappeared from the Internet. They used to be on Youtube at one time, way back when. In one sense, this isn't the worst loss, as unlike all of the other versions, they were broadcast censored, but it would still be great to get a hold of these. Don't know how, though.

5) Netherlands - Slick posted the most famous clip above, and there were more links made in this thread. Mods, would it be possible to merge that thread into this one? Seems pretty clear that the same people will be interested in both, and might as well get all of the information in one place.

6) Israel - I have uploaded the only video I have of this show. It's also been around a long time on Dailymotion, so anyone looking before will probably have already seen it. However, in my searching (very bad, I don't speak or write Hebrew) I did find a video on this page (hxxp://www.mako.co.il/entertainment-tv-media/tv/Article-f9c387339110821004.htm), which shows different parts of the same scene. I'm hopeful that somebody can maybe track down the full, unedited version of this video, and let us know if there were any others in the series.

7) Italy (Distraction) - I couldn't find much about this version, but I do know they definitely had at least one nudist game, because I found the picture at the bottom of the post. I like the fact that 2 of the 3 naked women are actually quite beautiful, and both are wearing high-heeled shoes! Not exactly typical nudist attire, but I like it!

An update on this: a quick look online reveals some bad news - the Italian version of Distraction was broadcast censored. Despite this, it would still be really good to get a hold of a video. Unfortunately, there's no free-floating video online that I can see, so what's needed here is for someone familiar with 'the Italian internet' to download the episode, if that's possible. The relevant episode is S01E01. There is good news, however - during the filming, the media were allowed to take photos, and these have been published uncensored. I've attached them here. These are all of the pictures; I don't think there are any more to find.

An update on the Israeli show, also: if anyone is able to download episodes of this - someone familiar with where you go to download Israeli TV - the relevant episode is S01E04.

I will add any more updates as I find them, but I think at this point help will be needed from our foreign correspondents.

Think I screwed up badly here . . .

A while ago I came across a site with two Distraction nude videos that aren't in this thread. They are from season 1 of the Dutch version, 'Rat Van Fortuin', in the 2nd episode (broadcast 22nd September 2006) and the 6th episode (broadcast 20th October 2006). In the first one, nine nudists, of whom seven were female, are dressed in a race, and in the second one, the same nudists are involved in a telephone booth game. Two or three of the female nudists were actually really fit . . .

. . . I forgot about it, didn't post it here, and now that I've gone back to the site, the streaming videos don't seem to work! You can access them here:

Can anyone who is good with computers confirm if these have, in fact, disappeared forever? Or is it a problem with my computer, not being able to play a .asf file? They both still work. I didn't bother taking a screenshot of episode 2 because it was taking way too long to fully load. If you use a browser that supports the VLC plugin it should work. So download VLC and try it again.
