JMO, but I don't think y'all should have any guilt for aiming the cameras at the "ams" in the NAP crowds.

If they are club regulars they are very aware that this event allows cameras & that since admission is $60 a day... anyone naked will have their image captured! If these women wanted to walk around in the buff for a weekend with no camera worries, there are other nudist resorts to travel to in Indiana.

That's funny I consider myself a hack. I do have an entry level SLR - Nikon D40, but I shoot in auto like 95% of the time. I got a sweet deal on that camera three years ago (camera body, two lenses, nice camera bag and some stuff I didn't care about) when they were closing them out for $525.

Yeah my rules are similar. First I never ask a fully clothed women if I can take a picture. If a women is posing for a crowd I'll definitely join in. Walking ladies I prefer to ask because generally they'll stop and pose. Scantily clad, topless and nude women sitting in the crowd I always ask (although some seem to ignore everyone and don't mind if you take pictures of them, so I will). The main reason I ask (beside being courteous) is they will actually look into your camera and you can get a better picture. Many of the girls wearing bikinis/lingerie will flash you without asking once you ask them if you can take their picture. I spend much of my time Sunday shooting video and those rules are a little sketchy.

Before and after taking the picture, always always always smile, thank her, and tell her she's beautiful. (Even if she isn't.) I see so many mouth-breathing troglodytes at this event who just stare into their cameras, slack-jawed and silent. I wonder sometimes if these morons ever wonder why the girls don't smile for them.

Of the three years I've attended, only one woman denied me permission for a photo. And there was somebody outside the bodypainting booth this year asking people not to take pictures while the ladies were being painted, since they might not be ready to be seen just yet.

What's worse is the troglodytes who don't even have a camera, it's Nudes a Poppin, NOT Nudes a Gawking.
I always thank the ladies for the picture. Most of the women in the crowd are great and happy to pose, some even thank you for taking their picture. Several have actually said I wouldn't be sitting here naked if I didn't want you to take my picture. In ten years I've had a few refusals including some women with an attitude (even one angry drunk chick yelling at people). I don't like the nude/topless women with the tudes. If you don't want you picture taken show up on one of the other 363 days a year the Ponderosa is open, keep your clothes on, or go elsewhere like across the street where you can be naked forever and no one will take your picture
