All the best bits from the first BBC Jane series. It may not be the best thing ever put on TV, but it's pretty damn close. Why is this not on DVD? Credit to the original uploader.

For those who don't know, this was originall a British World War Two Era Cartoon, that basically focused on Jane (Whom I think was an agent, or possibly just a female army member) losing her clothes, sometimes being stripped by people, other times by incidents. The cartoons did show subtle nudity (bottoms, undetailed breasts etc.)

The real Jane; Chrystabel Leighton-Porter. I used to have a few clips from the 1949 film. I'll see if I can find them.

Jane's "strip for victory", on VE day. The artist; Norman Pett, started the Jane comic in 1932, originally using his wife, and then, Chrystabel Leighton-Porter, as his model. After the war, Chrystabel had a music hall act in which she did a striptease as Jane.

There are at least two books about Jane; A Pinup at War (pictured), and; Jane at War (collecting all of the war time comic strips). The comic strip had several different artists, and continued until the 1990's. Anyone have the books?

A rare clip from the 1949 film; The Adventures of Jane. Chrystabel Leighton-Porter (born Chrystabel Drury), was very pretty, but I think Glynis Barber does the character (and the EUF reactions), much better.
