An Interview with Gypsy, Host of MyNakedTruth

I recently had the opportunity to do a short interview with Gypsy, host of MyNakedTruth, about her show:

- How do you go about recruiting women to be on your show?
A lot of times i interview models who modeled for my adult video shoots, they are usually open and easy to talk into being interviewed. I meet a lot of people and I pretty much ask everyone who has interesting opinions about life.

- Are most of them your friends?
yes, I love interviewing my friends, some of my guests are my friends.

- For the ones who aren't, how do you find/know them?

I am an activist and a very sociable person. I meet new people every day wherever I go.

- When you meet with them for the first time, how do you go about pitching the concept of a "naked talk show" to them, and are they generally receptive or do they take some convincing to do it?

I just tell people that I have a TV show where I interview people naked. Poeple usually smile or laugh, everybody I talk to seems to love the idea. I invite them to be my guests. Some poeple say they are too shy even though they support me and my show.

- It's obvious that everyone who appears on your show is at least comfortable with being naked, but are some women more nervous about doing your show than others?

Women who are not comfortable with their bodies are not very likely to appear on my show. So far I have filmed women who mostly have been on camera or have been publically nude (like at Burning Man).

- Is it the first time naked on camera for many of them? - see above

- In general, how do they feel about the experience afterwards?

people feel great after doing an interview with me. And so do I, I love it. It liberates me and it liberates my guests, it's a great experience!

- How exactly does your LustfulGoddess site relate to MyNakedTruth? Just doing a quick browse of the site, I see that many of the women who have appeared on MyNakedTruth also appear on LustfulGoddess in hardcore videos. Are the LustfulGoddess videos/photo sets done at the same time as the MyNakedTruth videos?

The only obvious connection is that the model that I have shot for LustfulGoddess were easy to talk into appearing on my show. The Tv shows were shot on different days than the adult videos.
But, even though having the same people on my show and on the adult site was unintentional in the beginning, I like the way it turned out. I have been told by viewers that watching the interviews along with the sex videos was a double turn on, that way you get to know the people better and then you watch them make love. I agree. And I like promoting sex from the heart, where you are not just fucking the body but it is the spirit that is the turn on more so than the body. I like to show people's humanity, their inner beauty, that's what turns me on the most. And then you get to watch them make love, and it is that much more beautiful when you can relate to them on a deeper level.

- For the women who also appear on LustfulGoddess, was that their first time having sex on camera (for public consumption, at least)? If so, how did you convince them to do it? Going from a naked talk show with non-sexual nudity to "porn" (for lack of a better word) is a pretty big leap. Or did you recruit them for LustfulGoddess first and then interview them for MyNakedTruth?

Yeah, in my case I filmed them for LustfulGoddess first, the Tv show was easy.

Actually, you know who I would LOVE to see Gypsy devote an episode's worth of interviewing to? GYPSY! We get glimpses into Gypsy, herself, through the interviews she conducts, but i'd love to see an "in depth" session on herself!
