granddad announces semi-retirement

Hi everybody. I wasn't sure exactly where to post this message so I thought I'd put it here. First of all, I want to make it clear that I am not b*tching or griping about anything here. I love this forum and really appreciate the posters and moderators. But I am developing a little bit of posting burn-out. I know it's happened before to other regular posters and now it's me. You all know how much hard work goes into digging up and posting good amateur porn, especially if you're still on dial-up like I am. The work is starting to outweight the pleasure. Again, this is not a complaint, it just happens. Plus we have a lot of new members posting now which is absolutely fantastic. They need old guys like me to step to one side and let them have their shot. I know that I'm not the only one who has noticed that a lot of great stuff is getting buried in the avalanche of new material. Too much porn: I wish all my problems were like that(lol). Anyway, I'm not going away completely. I'll still be lurking a bit but I'm only going to post to say thank you for something outstanding. I'm only going to start new threads if I find something I feel is truly exceptional to share with you all and I will still post to my old threads when they get replies or coments. I just wanted to say all this so people wouldn't think I cut back because I was pissed or something. Anyway, thanks for your time.

I'm sure everyones like me and appreciate everything you post especially with you being on dial up! Treat yourself to broadband as a retirement present!

I've noticed that peoples posting patterns often run in cycles. Nobody can be expected to post so much great material every day. You've really added a lot and I appreciate your time here.

Thanks for all your hard work. I know what it's like to be on dial up and can't even imagine having to use it again.

Sorry to see you take a break as you are a great contributer to OCC but I know how you feel. I will also probably take a break from posting in the near future just to take a little vacation so to speak. I think I have posted vids almost nonstop for the past 3 months.

Anyway, enjoy your semi-retirement while you can. One day or week if it gets slow here, we might all be beggin you to come out of retirement and post some more stuff.

Hey granddad

You are easily one of the most consistant and active member's on this board, and it must take a huge amount time and effort to post at such a dynamic rate. The fact that you are on dial-up makes it even more admirable.

You are doing the right thing by taking your foot off the gas if you find posting material not as enjoyable as it has been for you in the past.

It's so very easy to get too involved in your own work and miss some of the other great stuff here.

So kick back buddy, undo your top collar, loosen your tie and start having fun at OCC again.

well i am glad that you said you are NOT leaving, at least you will still be around, and even throw in the odd post every now and then. It funny how you get to recognise certan names on the board, from the amount of posts that the member makes, and i am sure that most of OCC members will know your name by now.
The fact that you have made so many posts while still being on dialup, is a credit to you. I guess thats one reason why i ALWAYS post vidcaps when ever i make a post, just to help dialup user to decided if they want to download or not.
I have a load of dialup user freindly flashing videos, that i will post, so hopefully, you may find a few clips to keep you intrested for a while

I wish you all the best in what ever you do, and just remember, that a lot of people ( even the ones that dont reply) have very much enjoyed, all the work you have done so far.

Hey gd. I went through exactly the same thing a while back so I know just how your feeling. I didn't think I'd ever get tired of posting, but amazingly it does happen but the nice thing is, as you said, other people are coming along and posting great stuff . . . so its time to sit back and enjoy.

I've enjoyed your posts, and really appreciate that you made such an effort while on dial-up. Kudos to you and thanks for all the great porn.

will miss your posts
but feel sorry for you on dialup
and here i was b*tching about a 30 second delay in the page loading

Shoot Granddad, you deserve a break man. I'll miss your awesome bj pics, but hey I don't blame you one single bit. In fact, I think anyone who posts as much as you do, who's on dial-up, should be highly commended. Thankfully, I've had high-speed for about 5 years now and I could not even imagine posting like that if I was dialing in.

Just sit back and enjoy the dang pics for goodness sake. You earned it.
