Naked woman in public fountain in Douala, Cameroon

Hi everybody,

There has been a trend in several Cameroon big cities, especially in Douala, to have some women getting in the busiest parts of the city, and to strip naked in front of the crowd, sometimes even performing random sex acts on the spot with homeless men. Most people believe that these women have been tricked into doing that by some kind of sect leaders, who tell them to perform such acts as a condition to enter their cult, or sometimes as a mystic ritual that would make them instantly rich.

I have already written about this, but I had never found any picture or video of such events, only heard of it from witnesses.

But for the first time, a stunt like this has been recorded (probably from a phone camera unfortunately, the video is very small...). On August 30th 2010, a young woman drives to a very busy part of Douala called "Quartier douches municipales" (municipal showers), where there is a large public fountain. It seems that she stepped out of her car wearing only a bikini, then removed it and entered the water fully naked, where she has stayed for half an hour until the police helped her out of the water, maybe to protect her from the crowd, maybe to arrest her (I couldn't really find out what she has become after that...)
