Ukraine nude protest...

...was back in November, allegedly against the anti-porno laws there; sex was simulated only. Man was arrested (but recently freed, though perhaps only granted bail rather than found not guilty: my Ukrainian leaves a lot to be desired), woman apparently went into hiding. Moral, I guess, is that in Ukraine you can be naked (see Klondike's naturist beach by location thread), you can protest about sexual issues (see osreb's FEMEN posts), but not simultaneously; contrast this with the USA, where at least some of the time public nudity, generally illegal, is tolerated if it can be construed as protected free speech...

I think their conduct would come under the heading of lewd, not simple nudity, and so in the US would not be legal either. They are touching, groping, etc and that consititutes "lewd". You would not be able to get away with this anywhere in the US, IMHO (except Folsom St, maybe ) Most naked protests do not involve touching, etc...
