hey treibe -

I need to spend more time in this thread. I was wondering where some of these locations are, and if you know, can you include that info in the post? I assume it is all Romania, and that you may be getting these from Romanian sites, but not necessarily. Any sites you recommend? Lots of good stuff!

These last pics are all over the internet and according to the shipwreck in the background, taken at the beach of Costinesti at the Black Sea coast of Romania.

The shipwreck is indeed the landmark of the "Youth Resort" as Costinesti used to be called. The last pics were taken in another location - Vama Veche, which lies close to the Bulgarian border. The name actualy means "old customs". I was there when they were shooting these the pics, back in '06. I can see my old car in some of the pics.

I think you are right and that last set posted by Treibe (litoral 87) are from two different beaches. I did a little sleuthing last night, and now know the landmarks of both beaches (shipwreck for Costinesti, and that building on Vama Veche (seen best in pics 3 and 4)).

The purenudism folks put much of this on the net, including these pics? They go all over that part of Europe...

For the sleuths among you, here are panoramas of both beaches. The first, Costinesti (backed by low cliffs) and the second Vama Veche (backed by funky buildings).

In Romania there are three main places where you meet people without inhibitions:
Vama Veche, Costinesti and, more recently, Vadu.
Costinesti is the favorite location of students.
Vama Veche is a place loved by those living in the spirit of Woodstock.
And Vadu newest location is frequented by a true nudist.

Thanks Treibe. Vadu appears to be not much more than just a beach. Unlike the others, it looks far from towns, buildings, etc. here is one pic I dug up.

This is slightly off topic, and would appeal to guys like Fango who may not visit this thread much, but here is a Romanian Language vid that is kinda cute - looks like a take off on a Spencer Tunick shoot, but then turns out to be an ad for a bike?

In Romanian, nudist is "nudistii". Considering that Romania is sandwiched between two Slavic language countries (Bulgaria and Ukraine), it does seem surprising that its language looks more like Italian..

Romanian is a language with Latin roots. Roman soldiers after they had conquered Dacia, were fascinated by the beautiful women here and have never left.
