Is there a way to determine the frame rate a video is playing at using Windows Media Player? Or any other way for that matter?
I am shopping for a digital camera, and would like one that will also shoot decent small videos, because you never know when or where a beautiful woman might take off all her clothes. I have missed too many opportunities already. It seems like my best bet so far is the Canon Powershot SD200 or SD300, which will shoot videos at 30 frames per second at a resolution up to 640x480. The length of the video is limited only by the capacity of the media storage. Is 30 frames per second tolerable? I know I can't stand watching some of the lower frame rate webcams becuase the image is so choppy. I often end up just deleting them, although some of the girls are beautiful. Jimmysmack |

It has 32MB onboard memory and i have 3 128MB memory cards. for good quality videos, i have this http://www.savastore.com/productinfo... 78406&pid=182 it takes DVD quality videos and has 16X optical zoom / 700X digital zoom. I also have this to use as an everyday camera that i carry around in my car http://www.dansdata.com/dv3000.htm regards CP. google is a good way to search for good options. Quote:

Before spending a heap of money on a camera, it might be worth looking on ebay. I got a pretty decent new digital camera and a 256 mb card for about £60 off it. Although it wasnt a named brand it has a pretty high spec and seems to take decent pics and vids. If you want details or any info just let me know. Hope your going to take lots of hot pics and vids for us!

I have a sony 5MP at 16 Fps. My experience is that digital cameras are not good for video clips. Not only do they all usually use different player formats but they also need a lot of light and the resolution is not good compaired to video cameras and you have to hold it very still. There is nothing like a good cheap camcorder.
Cameras are getting a lot faster so mabey the new ones are better. Here is a good site for info on digital cameras. http://www.dpreview.com/ At the time I got mine, Sony was the only one that used mpeg format at that price so that is why I got a sony. It's pretty nice to get a little mpeg vid at the touch of a button even though it's not the best quality. |
