Default webshots program

I downloaded a companion program for webshots and now my computer is having problems--long download times plus running out of memory.

Does anyone know about this program, it is to help you navigate in webshots?

Can this be causing my problems?

If so I'll dump the program, but if not I'll have to find a diiferent reason for my problems.

The problems are long download times, running out of memory and it about twice as long to load programs.

Thanks

I don't know anything about that program, but I've got a couple of suggestions:

Use some software for finding/removing spyware - I don't know enough to really recommend anything but a search on google for "spyware" should turn up a few.

I'm guessing that you're using Windows, if so hold down the "Ctrl" and "Alt" buttons and press "Delete". From there click on the "Processes" tab, then click on "Mem Usage" to change the order that it displays the running programs in. Let us know the name of the program that is using the most memory, and the amount of memory its using. Also if you're computer isn't doing much then "System Idle Process" should be using almost all of the CPU.

Hope this helps, sorry if I'm just telling you stuff you already know. Good luck.

Well spyware is def a prob, one of the best progs u can get is ad-aware, and its free to download off their site, just search on google.
Other than that, try uninstalling that webshots program and see if things improve, but if they don't try defraggin ur hard drive and checking it for errors, stuff like that
