We stayed at the Gardens Hotel. which is pretty expensive. The Hyatt (on Front St) is good, and close to the action. You can rent a house for less than $3,000 for the week. Houses in Truman Annex are available, but lack privacy and are too far from Old Town for my taste. Best to book by early spring. We prefer to stay close to Old Town, either on Simonton or Whitehead. You are going to do a LOT of walking. If you rent a car, make sure your place has a spot for it. Parking near Old Town is impossible.
