ENFs, Oops, downblouse, nipslips, etc.
I havent seen it asked so I figured I would throw this out here. Anyone ever thought about what/how/ or why this particular fetish intrigues us? I mean sure, it is boobies, and what man doesn't like boobies, but there seems to be the added factor of embarrassment involved. Hell, there are even ENF purists who prefer "true" ENFs over ones staged in movies, for example. I guess I am asking is if there is anything one can point to that would explain how folks like myself won't even bother clicking on the hardcore section of this much beloved site and instead settle for a picture featuring a blush and a hint of areola? Personally, all i can figure is when I was about 9 or so I watched an episode of Bloopers and Practical jokes which featured a young Sandy Duncan performing an instructional video on swimming techniques. She was in a studio (not in the water) and as she moved about on a mat her bathing suit kept sliding down. Her embarrassment was palpable, yet, ever the trooper, she would tuck herself back in only to continue falling out later. Of course they blurred out the good bits, and I can clearly remember being a little upset over not being able to see her "gifts" so to speak. Can anyone else trace their fascination with ENF's back to a particular instance or is it something that just sort of evolves over time? |

I think it's because of the reality aspect of it. These are things that happen in real life and were recorded. It is exciting to us because it means that it DOES happen and it's possible for us to witness in reality. I, myself, have witnessed a few ENF moments in real life. And it's quite the gratifying feeling.
I agree with you that hardcore stuff isn't even worth visiting. There's just too much of it. It's not rare like ENF stuff. The rarity of ENF is also something that makes it more exciting. Hardcore just doesn't do it for me. Looking at it sometimes even makes me wanna spew. What's the point? It's all staged and they're getting paid for it. It's just no fun. No, ENF is where it's at. And I'm so grateful that this forum exists. Thank you to all posters! |

I think the biggest attraction is the forbidden aspect of it. If the subject is embarrassed, that means we weren't supposed to see it. Seeing something you weren't supposed to is an exhilirating feeling when it comes to anything sex-related, and I think that's why it turns us all on so much.

ENF is something I like to see because I think it's funny. Lords knows I've done things where I might have had an embarassing picture taken and posted to the internet, but so far I don't think that's happened. So I sit back and look and laugh and say, "HA HA! YOU GOT CAUGHT!!!"

I agree with the forbidden aspect of it, but I think what distinguishes an ENF from just voyeurism is the fact that the subject KNOWS they are showing off something forbidden.

It has to do with the perception of power over some one else. Psychologically and physically humans use clothes the way a turtle uses a shell. But thinking about this takes the fun out of being a voyeur or enjoying an image we are not supposed to see.

I am in the "reality of it" camp. Perhaps I've been lurking on the wrong site, but I enjoy the unaware nude female as much as true ENF.
Most modern media entertainment is so overly polished. Pop music goes through much mixing and sampling. Images are touched up, models are surgically altered. So much money involved. Even "amature" pics can be hard to believe, or even if the girl really gets no money for it perhaps she sees the attention as payment. That's not too say that I don't also enjoy a professional Brooke Burk pic. But I enjoy it in a different way. |

The titilating knowledge of a woman's naked appearance is reserved for her lovers, and so it's a kind of commodity. Getting an eyeful of a woman who doesn't want to show her body is therefore kind of like stealing from her. At least that's how it feels, and so the power fantasy comes into play. The ENF lover's fantasy is of having access to anyone's nudity, whether they like it or not--perhaps moreso if they don't like it. That control aspect of it is what distinguishes ENF from good old amateur erotica. I remember when I was in 7th grade, my best friend showed me nude pictures that his dad had taken of his mom. It happens that his mom was my teacher's aide, and a very prim woman. Every time I saw her in class her after that, I chubbed out on the power I felt over her. Physically speaking, she wasn't terribly hot, but I got turned on because I had something over her that she didn't know. As such, it's possible to see the ENF/voyeur fetish as a pathology, as a social sickness. I tentatively agree, but I would stress that as long as ENF lovers don't hurt anyone, their kink is pretty harmless. If we all grew up naked and were totally casual about it, ENF wouldn't make any sense. I see ENF as a symptom of sexual repression in a context of status mania. ENF lovers don't want to take "no" for an answer, but we're also not inclined to physically enforce our desires. As long as it remains non-aggressive and non-obsessive, I see ENF as a harmless release from a social constraint. Thanks for the great question and posts so far. |
