I have been married for more than four decades, and my lovely wife and I have had many wonderful experiences and memories.

You make some excellent points---especially about control. She pointed out once that when sunbathing on a chaise lounge beside the pool when others were skinnydipping, she has caught guys staring at her, usually at her crotch. I have to disagree with the control thing. I think it's an association thing. Think of situations where you're naked for any meaningful amount of time: sleeping, showering/bathing and walking around the house innocently.
Think of when you're partially clothed for any serious amount of time: heavy petting, kissing, sexual relations with people.
