There is one advert from a few years ago that if anyone had, they would be king of kings. There was a boots advert from a few years ago where they had a women who lived with her mum use hair remover. She tries it out and is checkin herself out in front of the mirror naked and her mum and friends came back from bridge club of whatever. I shit ye not, i swear this exists. If anyone had it that would be great, i think it was around early 2000s.

I can help you with the Garnier ad . . . I don't have a copy, but it was shown when Charlie Brooker did an advertising special on his Screenwipe programme, and the ad is on Youtube here (it appears for a few seconds at 3:24, including the nipple moment, but the whole episode is worth watching - it's one of the funniest programmes on British telly).

I don't remember this Boots ad (although it sounds pretty cool) but I do have questions about a couple of other British ads. I remember seeing one once for Holland & Barratt, the healthfood stores, which had people walking around a supermarket naked (holding special offer signs in front of their bits) but which never seemed to appear again. I also remember a lot of fuss in the papers at around the same time about a 'risque' campaign for After Eight mints, where people stripped off after a posh dinner party. I never saw it, so I don't know if it was any good or not. These are going back a while; seven or eight years at least. Anyone have any clues?

The problem that I've found is that there seems to be a gap in the advertising record, so to speak. There are tons of 50s-early 90s ads available around the Internet. And just about every recent ad from the past couple of years is available somewhere. But, for whatever reason, pretty much all of the commercials from about 1998-2003 have simply disappeared. I don't know why this is, but it's a shame, because it sounds like there were a lot of great sexy commercials being produced during that time period, all around the world.
