For the lover of a 'fuller figure', it is nice to see the other generations caring about oil dependency sometimes..........

Been slow the last couple days. Hopefully we'll see another surge in photos around the web. Here's a couple more recent London pics I thought worth posting.

As far as bush goes, I don't think it's just Chicago. I've noticed that a disproportionate number of the women in the WNBR world-wide go for the less manicured look. This makes sense. Women that are inclined to participate in subversive political gestures like the WNBR are likely to ignore the conventional images of beauty present in mainstream culture. In addition to the specific goal of calling attention to oil over-consumption, the broader agenda of the WNBR involves rejecting most of the values that the mainstream holds dear (wealth, materialism, consumerism, mass consumption and... modesty), so it's not at all surprising that the females of the ride "just say no" to the ideals of femininity as sold to us on MTV, Us Weekly etc. Same reason you don't see too many tanned and buff gym-built guys. Showing off the full-bush is a counter-culture statement. I agree with them politically. But me, I prefer a nice landing strip. |

I overheard a conversation at the body painting at Brighton on this subject, a girl with a full bush said to her mate (who was painting her, I think they may have been gay from other remarks that were made!), that she had not done anything about trimming it for a while as she knew she was going on the ride and it made her feel a bit less exposed!

I hereby stake my claim for another first, the Cardiff (Wales) ride of 2008, the first time there has been a ride and it looks a bit tame. Still a tame ride is better than no ride at all!
We still have Edinburgh (Scotland), which I think is at the end of the month, to come. Then it will be the time to see what the scots really wear under their kilts!!!
