thanks, Crispus - interesting bit of sleuthing there. In the pics it is sunny, and it is rarely sunny in Victoria. So that threw me off a bit, too...Dallas is much sunnier.

First, in honor of Klondike's spectacular find (not in any of the most logical search categories, and apparently the antithesis of "missed opportunities" by somebody who didn't quite know what he was shooting), another from York. Then, to show that the guy on the left also antithesizes "missed opportunities," him with another serendipitous Mancunian '07 moment (sorry Pedro, I don't think he's approaching liftoff, just made that way: sigh!) as well as a (cropped, but I'm sure it's him on the right, as I have another one somewhere but can't locate it just now) London '07 one. Then, a sign of how far Brighton's come since '06: the police certainly didn't act like this in '07 or especially '08. Then some more from York this year.

Nudism Life is now back and working (with my photos!). I have just seen on the London site that the boss of Vivrenu.com the other big French naturism site is coming over with others to ride in London.

The Paris ride was attacked by French government security agents who wrestled riders off their bikes!! So much for Liberty and Fraternity in France. Bastards!

That guy with the black curly wig gets everywhere!

We had a guy (you can see him in pics here) with a sort of penis frame on, who got posed shots with ALL the naked young girls at Brighton and Southampton. Smart guy, I had a couple taken myself with these ladies, but that will remain on my HD!

Here is 'big boy, curly head' at London 07, I bet he will be there this year too!

Then, a sign of how far Brighton's come since '06: the police certainly didn't act like this in '07 or especially '08.

The police were stopping her because in 2006 the local police boss banned fully naked, it was only allowed in 07 and 08 because more enlightened police had taken over the job. One Police lady (with a bike) said she wished she could do the ride this year, we told her to make sure she was off duty in 09!

And away from the UK and back to '08: 3 from Vancouver, 3 from Burlington VT, 3 from Montpelier VT (where they were up to 3 dozen riders from 3 last year - probably the best % increase anywhere), and one from a new ride in Tucson AZ.

Nudism Life is owned by Vivrenu.com and the guy who was arrested in Paris was Gilles, one of the Paris WNBR organizers and one of the men behind Vivrenu!!!

French Riot Police Arrest Naked Activist and Nudist Website Owner

A semi naked middle aged man was arrested in Paris on Saturday, he was accused of organising a naked bike ride, where the riders were not only not naked, they were all men! Police say he is also being questioned on the illegal posting of photographs at his website, stolen from one mysterious photographer called 'Pedro'. He also broke advertising and safety codes by adapting his helmet as a billboard!

I was going to ask for the name of the website, but it appears as though it is either vivrenu or nudismlife.

So many other questions.....this is bizarre. I do not understand any of this!!! Exactly what did he do that was not legal? Posting photos is not illegal (as long as they are not copyrighted) nor is riding clothed (unless you advertize that you will be naked????). Seriously, guys.. this does not compute...
