look unfamiliar (and I am from the northwest myself and know the fora pretty well).

So I'll go out on a limb and suggest Australia or New Zealand (An aussie Redhead - there are so many!).

Yeah, y'all are totally right. I've never seen trees like those in my life - including when I looked at the pics yesterday. That girl was too good to look past.
