I've been to a few over the years and I agree. For me, its all about the mood or vibe of people in the shower.

If I'm in a good mood and the vibe of the place is good, just happy people, holiday mode, no one that looks like an axe murderer, then I'm look around, turn around, face all directions, smile, chat sometimes.

If I'm just there to shower and get out, or someone there doesn't seem right, then I'll face a wall, or corner, shower and get out.

My last time was a great experience. We were at a nudist holiday camp and the shower had a few couples in there, with other people coming and going. It was a morning of a nice day and everyone was happy. Us women were doing all the talking. The men stayed quite and only talked when asked a question. We were talking at one stage about a place in town for good food and deciding what to do for the day. We were also talking about the communal dinner coming up and what to wear. Naked all day, except when going into town or going to a formal communal dinner. It was great fun, a chat chamber. No hang-ups, just people happy being nude and having a shower.

I don’t have much experiences with places for nudists, but I have been several times in Bad Ragaz in Switzerland. There are ordinary pools but also saunas where you have to be naked (at least in showers, where you typically remove your towel, otherwise it becomes too wet . I must say I have never encountered any disturbingly looking men there. Sure, many of them old and fat but otherwise nice. And there are usually some young around 20 with nice body.
Once, me and my friend (we are both women in late thirties) had few glasses of vine by the pool and then decided to go to sauna (I know it’s not healthy). When we see some young nice looking boys, we have kind of joined them in the showers, give them smiles and looking at their things probably more than usual. I was fantasying, that exposure and close proximity of our naked bodies will make them harder, but I honestly didn’t noticed anything. Hope noone complained about us that day

That depends. In public places with strangers? No, that would be disturbing and scary. With colleagues and friends I know they are OK? As long as he was not demanding more, I would be pleased that he finds me attractive. Moreover if he was handsome, I would be happy.

But actually I was rather thinking more about parallel reality, where guys have permanent erection, so nobody can tell if they are aroused at the moment or not. Where I could just see all the time their pride in full shape and not in the silly form even during some casual chat.

The first time this happened my wife and I were at my brothers house, which was fitted with a sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi bath. After a few drinks my wife and I decided to take advantage of the steam room, and the two of us stripped off before entering. About five minutes later my brother knocked on the door and asked if he could join us - well it would have been rude not too say yes - so he joined us and the tree of us sat there naked for 20 minutes talking amongst ourselves.

It became a regular thing - every other Sunday we'd go across to their's and three of us would use either the steam room or sauna before joining his wife in the Jacuzzi.

I've often thought about this. At nude beaches with wife I completely enjoy the views, but I have zero problem keeping myself erection free. I think if we all walked around with raging erections most women on the beach would be appauled.
If however I was to leave the beach and say went to a private pool and was with wife and a few friends and we were all naked I would 100% get hard immediately. I assume any other men present would be the same. I think it is the environment as much as the naked boobs and pussies that does it.

I would guess that the strangest time my wife was exposed to two other men while using my brothers steam room and jacuzzi was when she had been modelling in the afternoon for a body-painter.

The shoot overran, and we were expected at my brothers for a meal, so Anna just slipped her clothes on over her painted body and we headed off to my brothers house. Once she was dressed you couldn't tell she was wearing body paint under her clothes, which was good because there was another couple there Pat and Dave, who we knew fairly well as well.

After the meal Anna and I went through to the steam room, stripped off and entered. We were never sure whether my brother would join us or not, but today he did - bringing with him Dave.
