There’s only a couple more days of Edinburgh (or three including tonight), but thought people might appreciate some reviews in case they are still in town, or for future performances.

Very fun show. Absurdist ironic musical with a message. FFs while rollerskating to open the show as a gag, then briefly later as another gag.
Baby Everything – one woman show, topless (twice) with patches over nipples involving audience participation. Smart well-written satire with lots of laughs. Good comic performance from the actress, too.
Puttana - single performer, but in spite of nudity warning only stripped down to see-through ish black bodysuit. Very athletic and attractive. Excellent immersive show which used headphones to create a soundscape for the story, altering the actresses voice when she was playing a male character, for instance, and adding extra audio. Extremely intense and confronting, though.
Good Enough? – by same company who did Mass Effect. Three dancers, two male, one female (strong dancer’s body). Extended full nudity for ten-fifteen minutes. If all you’re there for is the skin, or you don’t go for “arty” performance, you might not like it, but I thought it was a really very moving and sweet show about dancers’ careers, friendships, and life in general. Very good show.
Operotica: Lovers in Every Lifetime – again, no actual nudity in spite of warning, but sexy outfits, thongs, see-through to nipple patches. Camp, very funny Burlesque type show.
As already described, the Big Naked Comedy Show is a total gamble, but you might hit gold as I did: the male host, a male singer songwriter, and then three female comedians, two of whom had never performed naked before: an extremely cute, very attractive, slim, quite busty nerdy 30s Aussie who performs science-based stand up. She discussed premature greying and not dyeing her head hair, but how pubes don’t match – which she could show us – as well as her science material. In spite of this being her first naked performance seemed only a little bit frazzled by that (though, ran off swiftly at the end of her set). Then a 20s Korean comedian, again very slim. Much more nervy, but not in a bad way. Discussed how she debated whether to totally shave her bush or not, but had left it sort of half way. Seemed very energised to be doing this taboo thing, especially given more strict society in Korea. Lastly, an American Asian comedian in her 40s who had done the show before. More curvy. Talked about the effects of childbirth on her body. The venue is called the Big Yurt, but it’s actually tiny and very very intimate. Fully lit and you’re extremely close to the performers, which adds to the intensity of the show, but its got a fun, naive, silly atmosphere rather than being sexy at all. If you go, do be cool not creepy. You’ll have loads of fun that way and the show can continue.
