The origin of the WNBR was to promote/publicize a cause, e.g. save the whales. How does one promote a cause if we put our cameras away?

Fitne makes a good point, since pictures have been harder to find with age checks at flickr, and lack of wnbr pictures in general, number of women at london and brighton esp brighton has gone way down, you could say there are enough photographers in the flesh esp at london to put women off regardless.

but basic idea that less photos and less online footprint encourages more female particpation isnt necessarily the case.

i would guess for portland on a per capita basis blows every other wnbr out the water eg london is a city of 10 plus million and central focus point vs an isolated smallish city way out on the west coast. so for portland seen as less as odd people freak show or older men, and more like a general carnival eg once a threshold of gen pop is reached for participation it becomes normalised to take part, also that it happens at dusk.

But there are probably factors other than lack of photographers at event or online dissemination means women are more encouraged to participate i would argue for uk rides that along with most organiser being much older and men and so lacking digital literacy and what women find endearing means ratio of women in uk wnbr i would say is worst ever, again i recall at most 5 fully nude 18-35 women at the lincoln inn stop way below what is claimed for portland.

Speaking to fitne point above if more of the men participating were like Antwone i imagine there would be many more women, it would be interesting to know factors of which rides consistently get high fully nude female participation year after year and why. There are a handful of guys antwonish at the rides who the women are drawn to like a lynx advert but they tend to be more cool and blase and not have his outright charm and festivity. For them it helps to be tall, athletic with build of a greek statue and anatomically blessed,unlike a greek statue, or you have to be naturally high energy and gregarious, that seems the two ways to get postive interactions with women.

TOMORROW (Saturday) night is the "other" Portland naked bike ride, 5pm, Oregon Park.

Here's a pic that was posted from the one a couple weeks ago. I saw these four girls. Girls 1 and 4 were topless and girls 2 and 3 were fully naked. For over an hour before the ride began. They both had fantastic red hair bushes. I liked 2's ass and 3's tits.

No question that Portland has the highest number of naked women of any of these events.

The "other" wnbr happened yesterday. Much smaller than the one a couple weeks back. Maybe 300 people in total, but still a couple dozen fully naked women.

Speaking of cameras, I saw a naked rider smash a photographer's iphone to the ground. Obviously that's illegal, but no one did anything.

WNBR Berlin - 1% women?

I found a few photos of today's (2026-August-09) WNBR Berlin. These were the only pictures with women in them and on the first pic the woman isn't even naked (topless but not naked).

Some low res video clips show glimpses of more women so we might see more photos with women emerging, but it was definitely a sausage fest.

3rd pic is from the organisers webshop and the branding was definitely more "Berlin Pride" than "Berlin Ride".

I hope someone finds better pictures than these but from the looks of it, I'm happy I wasn't there. Funny that this is the same city where @GerVoy has managed to snap top class photos of naked beauties by lakes.

Sorry for the gloomy post folks, but there's still hope someone will cheer us up with some pics of the few ladies that must have been somewhere in the ride.

From what you read mostly males in Berlin, but a few females as well. In Berlin you would maybe expect more openness, but it was the first time in Berlin.
