My wife also looks at everyone; but will pay closer attention to women. But that's because she's being comparative. "That woman has bigger tits than mine, but mine are real and firmer", "she's got a great ass, I wish mine was as firm", etc...
That's the reason she's a smoothie now. She was looking at other women and felt that the bald look was more esthetic than her light trim.

I get that too, but a lot of them are totally average rather than small.

I think she, like a lot of women and men, get their 'average' from things like Naked Attraction, where they tend to be above average, or porn where they are clearly well above average. And a lot of small guys would be put off the nude beach or spa, so the average ones are the ones that look small. Even in single sex environments like changing rooms a lot more guys cover up now and the ones that don't are often the ones that are more confident about their size.

And that just feeds a cycle where people only see larger cocks so assume their average one is small.

So the solution is to educate our wives and not be afraid to show what we've got!

A lot of women don't get to see penis "in the wild"; outside the context of upcoming sex. It's not surprising that they would find the reality "anticlimatic." My wife has made the same observation at nudist venues. She had never even seen a micropenis before; which threw her through a loop.

I think both men and women would tend to agree that the female anatomy is much more interesting.

Man, as a grower I would expect the average to be much smaller. I'm below average soft, but above average hard. How about that.

The thing is, most men's sizes vary depending on a wide number of factors. When I'm cold or sick, I might be 2.5 inches flaccid. If I'm laying in the hot sun or I notice a woman checking me out subtly, I will be twice that size flaccid. How many guys are the same size when they come out from a cold ocean swim as they were before entering the water?

At a nudist resort you see all sizes and they do vary from situation to situation, except for the fortunate guys who are the same large size no matter what. In any case, it's nothing to worry about, most guys are simply average.
